Welcome to the Lake Family Winery Home

Founded in 2016 by Christopher and Jana Lake to make boutique, all-natural wines, Lake Family is a micro-winery dedicated to the art of allowing the grape to express what lies within. We take no steps to manipulate the outcome, instead allowing the grapes to become the wines they were intended to be. Join us in exploring what small batch, whole-process wine-making can be. First Vintage

2016 was our first vintage, and it turned out terrific. Each of our eight varietals was an award winner.

Second Vintage

Our second vintage 2017 is aging in the bottle, and will be ready this fall. Classically styled, and looking very good.

Great Fruit

Great fruit makes great wine. All of our grapes are grown in the Suisun Valley of California. They are picked and delivered to us in Pittsburgh fresh and ready to start the process to become amazing wine.

Third Vintage

Jana and I are very excited about our third vintage, 2018. We kept our third vintage all single varietals, and they couldn't have turned out any better!
